Heart problems are very common in dogs, particularly in dogs over the age of 10. In June 2018 when Delilah was 11 we found out she had a heart murmur. We were working through diagnosis and treatment with our regular vet when our holistic vet recommended seeing a veterinary cardiologist. At the time I didn’t know such a thing existed. Delilah saw a veterinary cardiologist in Sept 2018. The diagnosis, prognosis and medication Delilah received from the veterinary cardiologist was different than what we heard from our regular vet. Have you ever sought out a veterinary specialist?
