Wellness Wednesday: Thanksgiving 2018
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and you should be thankful your human isn’t making you wear turkey hats. We put up with a lot of accessories and outfits but for whatever reason this is where we draw the line. Thanksgiving is an amazing time with family and food but if us pups eat the wrong thing we can end up needing an emergency vet visit. Dogs can eat most Thanksgiving foods but we can’t eat all the extras that come with. Turkey is good just no gravy, skin or (cooked) bones, potatoes are fine but no butter or garlic and one of our favorites are green beans but we can’t have the cream of mushroom soup or fried onions. When our human is cooking she sets aside some plain ingredients for us to eat later. Make sure everyone you are with knows what is ok and not ok for your pups. We hope everyone has a great day celebrating with their family tomorrow. What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
