Wellness Wednesday: Choosing a Groomer

Happy #WellnessWednesday friends! Our humans are back from vacation and they said that we need to go to the groomers soon. We go to the groomers about 4 times a year and our humans groom us between visits. We wanted to talk about some tips for finding a good groomer near you: ✔Ask for a tour of the facility. You want someplace that is open to showing you around and is well organized and clean. ✔Ask what kind of products they use. It's best if they use high quality natural products. We actually bring our own shampoo because we are sensitive and our groomer is fine with that. ✔Ask the groomer what they will need from you to groom your pup. They should ask for vaccination records and if your pet has any medical problems. A good groomer will always ask if you pet has any preexisting conditions so that they will know what to do if something happens while they have your pet. ✔Ask where your pet will be while they are not being groomed. We prefer to go to places that don't put us in cages. ✔Ask how they will dry your pet. We prefer to air dry or be dried by hand. We will not go anywhere that they use drier machines where you go in a cage. They can malfunction and cause harm or even death to pets. ❤Do you have any tips on how to pick a groomer? ♡ ♡ ♡ Check out #PeakePupsHealth to see all our health posts ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ #Groomers #PetHealth #DogHealth #HealthyDog #MalChi #PomChi #DogsOfMichigan #Maltese #Pomeranian #PomeraniansOfInstagram #Pomstagram #Chihuahua #ChihuahuasOfInstagram #ChihuahuaFanatics #SmallDogsOfInstagram #SmallDog #TinyDog #DogLife #InstaDog #Dogstagram #DogsArePeopleToo #DogsBeingBasic #CuteDog
